For
well over 40 years I have been heavily involved in the horse industry.
Consequently I am very involved in the field of equine nutrition.
My participation in everything from polo and fox hunting to the raising
and racing of standardbred horses, plus experience managing a 70,000
ton per year feed mill has shown me that the horse industry is the
most nutritionally ill advised consumer group in the livestock industry.
The industry is awash in magic potions, secret formulas and foo foo
dusts that claim to cure every equine (and some human) problem that
is known to exist (for only a "small" fee). I will do my
best to answer as simply and honestly as possible any reasonable question
concerning equine nutrition related problems.Ration formulation and
problem solving in conjunction with your equine veterinary practicioner
is our specialty. You may not like my answer but it will not be clouded
with the intent to sell any given product.
To make answering
your question just a little easier please ensure that you have the
relevant parts of the following information available to assist me
with your request.

pregnancy.
